Ame boost MMR for money

Wang "Ame" Chunyu, a legendary Chinese Dota 2 player, used to earn money in his youth by boosting MMR on other accounts, which is a violation of Valve's rules.

His statement was published on Twitter CN Dota In A Nutshell.

"Some people paid me to play on their accounts and help boost MMR when I was young. But I did this for only two days in total. It was during my summer vacation — I had around 8,000 MMR, while those guys had around 6,500 MMR. I gained 400 MMR for them in two days. Later, I joined the team Inflame as a pro player"

It remains unknown whether Valve will react to this confession, as boosting accounts could result in an 8-year ban in Dota 2.
