Almost 60% of players using Ringmaster are unaware of an important aspect of the hero

Around 58% of players using Ringmaster are unaware that Aghanims Scepter currently doesn't work on the new hero, yet they still purchase this item in Dota 2 matchmaking.

A screen grab containing the most bought items for Ringmaster showed that Aghanims Scepter comes as the second favourite item after Boots Of Speed. This is because players would normally purchase this item hoping that it can change one of its abilities or even give them a completely new one. However, with regards to Ringmaster, you’ll notice an interesting thing here; until now, Aghanims Scepter doesn’t have any effect on him thereby making it a waste of resources.

The commenters were astounded at how many players lack sufficient knowledge about the new hero while playing matchmaking. On the other hand, some users have suggested that Dota Plus assistant may be responsible for such cases since it recommends this item in its build suggestions which results in a situation where many players simply follow what Dota 2 assistant says without giving it much thought.

The fact worth mentioning is that very soon Ringmaster might get another ability and dataminers have already exposed its actual appearance within the game.
