Alliance players shared their expectations for the upcoming patch

Alliance team players - Linus «Limmp» Blomdin, Gustav «s4» Magnusson and Simon «Handsken» Haag shared in an interview their expectations from the upcoming patch in Dota 2.
What are your thoughts on the upcoming patch?
S4: My thoughts about the upcoming patch is that it's going to be pretty nice for everyone, that we got something new. Because we've been waiting for like half a year now for a new patch and it's just gonna motivate a lot of people to start playing dota again.
Handsken: So i'm looking forward to it. I'm not really sure what to expect to be honest, but i think there's gonna be a big one, like there's for sure gonna be item changes and hero changes. I just like as far as what's gonna go down, we can go anywhere, we've seen crazy things like neutral items, implemented shrines and stuff like that. So it's hard to really say. but i think it's going to be very big.
Limmp: My thoughts about the upcoming patch is, that exciting with something new, we'll have this patch for a long time, so just want something new.
What are you hoping to see less of this patch?
S4: There's a lot of stuff that we can leave behind. It's all these broken combos, items like rapier timings and stuff all those things are like. A bit cheesy in this patch and i hope they kind of tune it for the new patch and we can leave behind all the cheesy stuff. They're gonna be new ones, but i hope we can leave behind the old ones.
Handsken: I hope that we drop a bit of the like stacking meta. It's been very much the same for like a few months now, where the best teams are consistently very good at just playing stacks and very defensive and slow methodical games. And i would like it to be a bit more fast-paced.
Limmp: I think it would be cool to leave the neutral items and just remove them and go forward and see how it works out.
What are you hoping to see in this patch?
Handsken: Well the new hero is going to be fun. For sure we don't know what role is going to be yet, but that's going to be exciting.
S4: It's always been something in dota, like the skill cap is really high. but sometimes in some patches it becomes a bit lower. But I want them to increase the skill cap, so like good players have a big chance to win against low level players. There should be no random chance, it can be a little bit rng but i think if they can increase the scale cap, however that would be good.
Limmp: I just hope the remove Techies this patch, does it.
