The esports organization
OG terminated its partnership with Dmitri "DM" Dorokhin due to a contract violation. This happened because OG was unhappy that the player began coaching the
9 Pandas team in Dota 2 without the appropriate permission.
Dot Esports reported this information, citing its sources.
OG filed a complaint with ESL related to Dorokhin when he was allowed to be at the draft stage during the match between OG and 9Pandas at DreamLeague Season 21. Viewers of the broadcast noticed that Dorokhin was sitting behind the backs of the Russian team's players, while he was still under contract with the European organization OG.
Subsequently, there was a verbal confrontation between the clubs regarding this situation. Representatives of 9Pandas claimed that they tried to contact OG to obtain permission for Dorokhin's actions but did not receive a response. OG denied these claims.
The European organization OG was greatly displeased with Dorokhin's actions, leading to the termination of the contract with him. Journalists from Dot Esports attempted to obtain confirmation of this information from OG, but the club refused to comment on the matter.
Currently, the
9 Pandas team continues to participate in The International 2023. After their defeat against
LGD Gaming in the first match of the playoffs, the team was relegated to the lower bracket.
