Lee "Forev" Sang-don announced that he is leaving
IHC Esports. The esports athlete advised the team to find a new coach who can fully dedicate their efforts to working with the team.
Forev made this announcement on his official Twitter account, stating,
"
IHC Esports and i parted ways. since i was part-time coach, couldn't really put the effort that much due to my other bussiness. so i think they better get a person who can fully commit with them. I'll take a while to figure out things going and see what i'll do after."

Lee Sang-don coached the
IHC Esports lineup since late May 2023. Under his guidance, the team participated in closed regional qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. The ESL 2023 qualifiers were unsuccessful, with the team being eliminated in the first round after losses to
Talon Esports and
Bleed Esports. In the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 qualifiers, the team reached the upper bracket final but couldn't overcome
Azure Ray, subsequently exiting the tournament after losing to
Geek Fam. Under Forev's leadership, the lineup secured third place in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 regional tournament. In the ESL One Birmingham 2024 qualifiers, which marked the last championship with the former coach, the team played in open qualifiers and lost to
Geek Fam, missing a spot in the closed qualifiers.
